THE PRACTICE
I direct visual stories and photograph people within structured environments—workplaces, academic institutions, cultural organizations, and community systems. Informed by two decades in theater direction, academic leadership, and performance practice, I approach portraiture as an intentional, high-production encounter.
Guided by context and intention, the studio moves fluidly between formal medium-format portraiture, site-specific instant film installations, long-form 35mm observation, and educational workshops—executing site-specific activations, long-form editorial assignments, and institutional creative direction nationwide. Alongside commercial and editorial practice, the studio maintains For the Culture—a suite of fully subsidized, patron-endowed grants and educational fellowships.

The studio accepts select commercial assignments, long-form editorial commissions, private portrait sittings, and site-specific institutional installations worldwide.
Alongside private and editorial work, the practice maintains an active civic component—deploying participatory portrait systems and direct-action archives in partnership with cultural institutions.
